So why did MOTD NOT show the game-changing scissor tackle from behind on Payet?
I'm sure if this tackle had been made against Man Utd or Arsenal or Man City then we would not hear the end of it - it would be all over the papers too.
Anyone with some theories then?
Thought Bilic also messed up by NOT metioning it either in his post match commenst and even said the ref had a good game.
WTF !! Everton clearly had an agenda to clatter our best players and looks like they have got away with it - which only means one thing - they will do it again to another team.
I like Bilic but I think he missed a poltical opportunity here - the game changing tackle should have been highlighted - put it down to his lack of experience and political naivety.
Can't believe that Everton have got off scot-free with this.

Plenty of fuss made of Lanzini's goal on Sky as well as the foul on Payet, which I am getting more pissed off about as time goes on.

Can you imagine the uproar had someone done that to Harry Kane. Am actually even more upset that more of a fuss hasn't been made of Lanzinis goal.

There is no doubt that he should have got a red, anybody who says different is making up their own rules for the game. I also agree that Bilic was amiss in not mentioning either that foul, or their concerted attempts to kick shit out of our players. You want future referees to be looking out for such an approach, keeping schtum about it won't encourage them to do so. The unfortunate reality is that referees are shit and need a bit of pressure applied to do their job properly.

Crystal palace are plaing out of there skin very decent football, but Pardew grates on me i just dislike him and cannot put a finger on it he is truly arrogant maybe that is it, where as Klopp who has won everything comes off as humble and genuine.
Klopp proves to me that its all about taking your chances and the players playing well not realy the manager.

McCarthy 100% intended to do Payet. There is no doubt about it, he'd mugged a few of them off already, was the games outstanding player who looked most likely to create something, and he ends up on the receiving end of a scissor tackle, the 3rd bad challenge on him and the worst of all.
I never wish injury on anyone, but I hope that fake Irish cunt snaps something of his own, no room in the game for his type.

Just watched that tackle again a few times and Mccarthy follows through with his weight in the scissors movement to injure Payets leg. I am sure these type of tackles were being red carded in past seasons and whats worse is that it is from behind? The ref does not see the buckling of the leg caused by the follow through but does see the scissor movement and that it is from behind. Maybe he is fooled by the fact that Mccarthy makes contact with the ball? But probably just another ref who has not played the game and does not understand the intent of a tackle like that.
I hope Mccarthy gets taken out himself by someone when we go up there.

Chester, I thought the same, disappointed Bilic didn't complain that a few of their players should have been booked previously. Then it probably would never have happened as the Ref was too weak. He should also say that he is going to make a complaint as our players have the right to be protected.

Bilic is being incredulous regarding the referee. He was in Martin Atkinson's ear all game. Say nothing rather than lie. Saying the ref had a good game is up there with the crap Allardyce used to come out with.

Although I disagree with HMP's view here - I like Bilic's excuse-free press conferences - I can understand what he's saying perfectly.

The thread opinion in itself if fine, but to start spouting on about Bilic being naive, politically, because he didn't moan about a challenge on MOTD was probably more to do with Bilic being a tough no nonsense CB, rather than a pissy cheese eating peado surrender monkey bad loser.
